The Monolith Icon Kamado Ceramic Grill is the first portable grill from the Monolith family.
This compact grill is ideal for small terraces or balconies or even picnics and camping. Monolith Grills are the perfect choice for your barbecuing, smoking, baking, searing, or roasting needs and the Icon has a 33cm diameter grid, enough for a small family.
The special feature of the Icon is that the lid can be removed and you can then use the Icon as a table-top grill or place the Icon Fire Plate on top. Easy to use and transport and also includes a fan adaptor for adding a BBQ Guru!
There is a great range of optional Monolith Icon accessories available to enhance your cooking experience with some of the Junior Accessories also being compatible with the Icon.

Design & Functionality
All Monolith Ceramic Grills are multifunctional, giving you flexibility and freedom to use different cooking styles. Grilling, smoking, baking, searing, barbecuing or roasting are easy to achieve with minimal effort. The Monolith Kamado design combines aesthetics with functionality and has traditionally been used by the Chinese and Japanese for over 3000 years. It’s unique and extravagant, yet it creates amazing results.
Versatile & Efficient Cooking
Grilling, low 'n' slow cooking, baking, smoking and searing – however you prepare your dishes, the Monolith Grill will always give you perfect results. Due to its unique thermal efficiency the Monolith Grill needs very little energy to generate and maintain desired temperatures so with just 2.5 – 3 kg of charcoal the Monolith can cook low and slow for up to 24 hours. Furthermore very little oxygen is required to maintain temperature and air movement is minimal so meats stay moist and juicy.
Compared to other barbecues the Monolith is extremely fuel efficient delivering high temperatures with minimal waste. Simply open the top and bottom vents and air races in to quickly heat the charcoal. When done just close the vents to stop the air flow, the grill and fire area are now sealed and within a short time the charcoal embers die down ready to be re-used next time.
Unique Woodchip Feeder System
The Monolith's unique system for adding wood chips gives the meat that typical smoky BBQ taste without having to disturb the meat by raising the lid. Flavoured wood chips are placed in a chute and are pushed through the specially designed aperture directly in to the fire.
High Build Quality, Low Maintenance
The Monolith is made of extremely heat-resistant ceramics and high-grade stainless steel. The outside surface temperature of the Monolith is much lower than a regular steel grill, therefore is minimal danger of burn injuries. The exceptional thermal performance of the solid ceramic and clever air regulation means you can control the temperature in the Monolith like no other type of grill. In addition, charcoal consumption is around 25–50 % less than a regular grill. Light the charcoal and you are ready to cook in just 15 minutes with far less fuel burnt during the preheating phase.
The outstanding thermal performance of the ceramic coupled with the use of high-quality stainless steel make the Monolith very low-maintenance and it can even be used in winter. Simply clean by setting at 200°C for 15-20 minutes.

Please note that BBQ's and other items may arrive on a pallet due to the weight and size. Insurance restrictions mean the delivery driver will not be able to carry the barbecue up or down steps, through a property, wheel the pallet across a gravel driveway or up particularly steep driveways. Unfortunately, the delivery company we use are also unable to remove items from the pallet or take the pallet away with them. The driver will only be able to wheel the pallet as far as physically possible, which may only be kerbside.

We can offer a paid service to build and deliver your BBQ. Please call us first, to discuss your requirements.
A failed delivery will automatically be attempted on the next working day, any further attempts will incur additional charges. If a delivery attempt has been made the driver will leave a card detailing your local depot.
Please do as instructed and don't just ignore the card. If nobody is available to receive and sign for the delivery it can be left in a safe location or with a neighbour, please specify details in the special instructions field. Please note that these charges are due to courier surcharges and are unfortunately not something we can build into our overall pricing structure.
Inspect Goods On Arrival:
Damaged or missing items must be reported within 24 hours. We will not be liable to you if a non-signature service is requested, or written instructions are given to leave goods in a safe location, and the goods are subsequently lost or damaged.
- We require a photo of the damages emailed to us at info@aoskitchens.co.uk
- Once photo evidence has been received we can organise a replacement for the damaged part.
Cancellations & Refunds
At AOS Outdoor kitchens Ltd we want you to be delighted with your order, so if you are unhappy you can return them within 30 days of receipt for a replacement. Goods must be in the same condition as when despatched. We will refund any postage costs if the return is a result of our error we made in fulfilling your order. If the goods are faulty/Damaged and if possible the damaged parts of the order/BBQ will be replaced in the first instance. Any refunds will be made within 30 days. This does not affect your statutory rights.
To make a return please send the item(s) together with the original invoice and a covering letter explaining the reason for the return.
